If there were ever two fiber animals that were more different from each other it would have to be the tall, glamorous Suri alpaca from the mountains of South America and the stout, willful Icelandic sheep of the artctic tundra. Why Charli chose to blend these two in this one-off yarn run at Windy Acres Farm and Mill, we'll never know. But the result is a fluffy, yet shiny and next-to-skin soft yarn that will hold it's shape when knitted up (thanks to the stubborn Icelandic!). We hope she keeps expermenting in the mill when it gives us textures like these. When these are gone, they're gone forever.
