Fundamentals of knitting:

You already know knits & purls, how to do long tail cast on and a basic bind off, but do you understand how your stitches work together to make something beyond a square or rectangle? Can you “read” your stitches and rows? Do you know your “style” of knitting and how it affects your results? Can you diagnose a simple mistake and fix it? These topics, and more, will be addressed.

Reference text will be Patty Lyons’ Knitting Bag of Tricks (strongly recommended).

You will need:

-50 gm of light-colored, worsted weight wool yarn with a tight twist.

- size 7 or 8 circular needle at least 24” long
