Learn to weave on a Rigid Heddle Loom with artist Nancy McRay!
This 6-hour workshop is broken up into two 3-hour sessions. First meeting is Sunday 9/22, 1-4pm. Second meeting is the following week Sunday 9/29, 1-4pm. Students may bring their looms home between classes.
Loom rental and tools included.
Students to provide their own yarns. (Nancy suggests 2 X 100g skeins of DK or worsted weight wool for your first project. We will be weaving on 8 or 10 dent reeds.)
Students will learn about selecting yarns for weaving, warping the loom, hemstitching and weaving their own scarf or table runner.
