Have you ever wanted to learn how to make HANDSPUN YARN?!?
Emily Wohlsheid from Bricolage Studios is bringing her drop spindles to teach spinning on a top whorl drop spindle!
(For the weekend at least we'll be calling her Emily Whorl-sheid).
Students will leave with a basic working knowledge of drop spindles and how to create their own handspun yarn, and an introduction to the spinning wheel. There are a few spinning wheels hanging around at Fibershed that students can try out once they have a feel for spinning on the drop spindle.
Ticket includes all materials. Just come with some comfy clothes, curiousity, patience and lots of self-love. Class size limited to 8.
